Working with commissioners

Baroda Care is experienced in working with Commissioners. The care we provided is part of an overall patient pathway. We therefore work closely with NHS Trusts, Care Coordinators, ICBs and Local Authorities (LAs) to make referrals, admissions, transfers, and discharges as safe and seamless as possible. We welcome Commissioners to visit our facilities to see the environment  and meet the staff, witness service user care and understand our commitment to rehabilitation and recovery.

The service we offer

We provide a 24-hour supported residential care and service users have access to a full programme of onsite activities.

Referral pathway

The following criteria sets out who will benefit from active rehabilitation at Baroda Care.

Young adults aged between 18 and 65 years.
Those who have a primary mental health diagnosis.
Severe, complex, and enduring mental health needs which might include treatment-resistant conditions.
Informal service users and those subject to restriction orders under the mental health act.

We accept referrals from medium and low secure forensic services, acute mental health services, out-of-area service, rehabilitation services or from within the community. Our services are funded by provider trusts, ICBs or Local Authorities(LAs).
